– The Harding Homestead – Rooted in Heritage, Growing a Greener Tomorrow
– Prosperity Through Sustainability

A few years ago, our family made a decision that changed everything.
We left behind the fast pace of city life—the noise, the schedules, the screens always glowing—and headed to Tennessee soil with one goal: get back to our roots. We wanted something slower, more intentional. We were tired of feeling like life was happening to us, instead of something we were building with our own two hands.
We craved real food. Real time together. Real control over the life we were living.
So we built Harding Homestead—a place where we could grow not just fruits and vegetables, but a lifestyle rooted in sustainability, connection, and self-sufficiency. Every carrot pulled from the ground, every egg gathered from the coop, every jar of home-canned tomatoes is part of that mission.
We’re not perfect. We’ve made mistakes, taken crooked rows, and discovered the kind of joy that only comes from dirty boots and full hearts. But we’ve learned that with a little work, a lot of love, and deep respect for the land, there’s a better way.
This blog will be a space to share what we’re growing, learning, and laughing through—from seasonal recipes to sustainable tips, garden triumphs (and flops), and glimpses into daily life on the homestead.
Thanks for coming along for the ride. We’re so glad you’re here.
